This task has given me a better idea as to what the conventions of magazine film reviews are, so that I can use them in my own. The review will usually have a star rating, allowing the audience to easily identify the quality of the film. There will also be images included to make the review more visually appealing for the reader. A key quote is sometimes made large on the page to allow the reader to identify some of the key points. Information on the release date, actors, and director will sometimes be included, as well as an opening paragraph outline the plot. The main body will point out the positives and negatives, before giving a final verdict, sometimes with a short summarising paragraph.
